The Government is setting up the project for Unique Identification Authority to provide Unique Identification Numbers to all Indian citizens for getting all Government services in a easy way. The main purpose of this project is all Indian citizens must have identity card which provides the security in the country. This UIN number will contain all the identity of a citizen from birth to death. Mr.Nandan Nilakeni has been appointed as Chairperson of Unique Identification Authority of India. He served as a co-chairman of Infosys.
