Biometric PAN Cards for New Applicants

Thebullishtrends: Central Govt is planning to launch Biometric PAN Cards very soon. As per this plan Biometric permanent account numbers (PAN) for income tax payers will be luanched in the coming days. Infact the Income tax department has planned it two years back when it found more than 13 lakh people has got duplicate pan cards. Most of them have given wrong information about their adress etc. As per the reports the present PAN card cost is Rs.60 where as Biometric PAN card will be costing around Rs.200-300. Biometric PAN Cards will be issued new applicants and old PAN Cards will be valid as they said.
