Maytas Infra bags the project to construct a bridge across Vasista branch of River Godavari

Thebullishtrends: Maytas Infra share price closed today at Rs.652 (Rs.2.40). Maytas Infra has announced today after the trading hours that they have bagged a project for the design, construction, finance and maintenance of a Bridge across Vasista branch of River Godavari at Narsapur connecting Narsapur of West Godavari district with Sekhinatipalli of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.

The bridge which will be connecting cities of West Godavari district and East Godavari district will be 391.50 metres long. The two lane bridge will have foot path on both sides and will be connected to the cities by two approach roads.The work is awarded to Maytas Infra on April 15, 2008 and the financial closure of the project is expected to happen by October 14, 2008. The cost of the project is around 68 crores. The work at the site will be starting from June 01, 2008 and is expected to be complete by May 31, 2010. The Construction Period is 24 month from the date of signing the agreement, and the Concession Period is 12 years with the Annuity Period of 1 years."We are happy to bag this order and are looking at supporting the government in the socio economic development of the area through this project.
