Sensex closed with a gain of 19 points

Thebullishtrends: Today BSE Sensex closed with a marginal gains of 19 points and closed at 17,825 points. Though the market breadth was positive but it could not sustained in higher levels. Banking and IT stocks were faced selling pressure but there was demand for Capital goods stocks. ead of closing of Derivatives contracts market trend reversed in the closing session. European markets which were opened after the Indian markets closed with losses. Indian markets are looking for Union Budget-09. Market sources are expecting that Corporate Income tax may reduce by 10% or else it may abolish, there is a possibility to reduce the Dividend distribution tax from 15% to 12.5% and another possibility will be Securities Transaction Tax may hike slightly.
