Thebullishtrends: Bag Films share price closed yesterday at Rs.61.40. BAG Films is working on six segments like Television Software,ISOMES,Film Production, Animation,FM Radio and New Media and Convergence.

B.A.G has an experience of producing more than 40 on air programs ranging from News, Chat Shows, Current Affairs, Entertainment, Soaps, Audience based shows, Film based shows, Infotainment, etc. The company has already produced more than 5000 hours of on-air software and has a rich footage library of more than 50,000 hours. Star Group (Star News, Star Plus, Star One), Sony Entertainment Television, Sahara Network, DD News are some of the channels.

B.A.G. has entered into a joint venture with SIEUNDESIGN Co., Ltd., a leading Korean firm that has presence in production, distributionand licensing of animation films and TV series. The JV is proposed to be named “SIEUN & B.A.G. Animation Pvt. Ltd.”

Entering the FM Radio business for B.A.G was a natural stride towards forward integration. Developing content in syndication mode for FM Radio stations across India will again generate more revenues for B.A.G. The company has bagged the FM Radio rights for Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, certain parts of Punjab, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh. The FM radio stations will be operating under the name "B.A.G Infotainment Pvt. Ltd." And in the last month BAG Films launched 24 hrs Hindi New channles also.

BAG Films has started to performing from last quarter onwards as it posted Rs.1.14 cr netprofit compared to first quarter just it was Rs 79 lakhs only. At the same time the company is improving its revenue compared to its previous quarters. You can count EPS for this company as media sector stocks are having lot of fancy in the market. But you have to wait another months to get your purchase price of this scrip.
