Query : What is the future of Power Sector from a 6 month -1 yr perspective? I want to know specifically abt the scrips Powergrid and PTC during the same time frame? Sabari Ray

Thebullishtrends : The future of the power sector is very bright for the coming months. The Government plans to add around 80,000 MW of generation capacity in this five year plan in order to bridge the current supply and demand gap. And if India has to achieve a consistent over 9 % GDP growth, then power generation has to grow by around 11% to 12% per annum.

PTC (CMP: 148) and Powergrid (CMP:147) both are good scrips to buy at current levels which will give you very good gains in medium to long run.
