Query : I am holding 15 shares of Alstom Power Projects at Rs.1010, should I hold or sell it? if hold then for how long? Imran Petiwala

Alstom Power Projects involves in Power generation equiptment and Rail transport infrastructure. Most of revenue comes from Hydro Power equipment. 95% of it's orders belongs to power and transport segments.

Alstom Power posted a net profit of Rs.24.20 cr on sales of Rs.398.10 cr for the second quarter. It is a very good company it is having enough orders in it's hand. Alstom has won a contract worth approximately 1000 cr with Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd for the construction of the first Alstom GT26 based combined cycle power plant in India in June'07.
