Thebullishtrends : A leading Paper manufacturing company in South India, SVPCL Ltd, has came to IPO on 22nd October'07, IPO price fixed at Rs.40-45, as per it's DRHP that it will use the proceeds from the IPO to increase capacity. The total issue was just Rs.35 Crores. It is a small player in manufacturing paper products like note-books and other stationery.

The sentiment on these type of companies is very low in the market. One more company Blue Bird India a larze sized paper products company went for IPO market, issued shares at Rs.105/share and currently it is trading at Rs. inspite of having sound fundamentals.

The SVPCL issue fully priced at Rs.45/- the shares of SVPCL listed in BSE but it is not trading. It is better to avoid these type of IPO s.
