Thebullishtrends :The port based logistics company, GDL Gateway Distriparks) share price closed today at Rs. 145.50, Gateway Distriparks was incorporated in the year 1994, the principal activity of the company is to conduct ware housing,container freight stations. GDL posted Rs.18.36Crore net profit on total sales of Rs.41.91Crore for the 2nd quarter. Infact quarter 2 results were below the expectations due to the income from cold storage and rail business were very low. GDL is expanding its fleet by 10-12 rakes by the end of Mar'08, and presently the company is running only 2 rakes on the domestic segment. The income from the lease agreement with CONCOR will contribute from the quarter 4 only. You need not to expect immediate rise in shre price, as this share is not moving up since June'07 you can sell it and invest in good prospoectus scrips like GMR Infra at current levels.
